Way of the Tree of Life
A journey into the depths of the soul, by the light of Sefer Yetzirah and the way of the Baal Shem Tov
What it's about
Three intensive weeks — purifying the heart, clarity of mind, and uniting body and soul. Open to Map of the Soul graduates and to anyone who completes it before or after.
An experiential framework whose whole aim is to weave a precise approach to psychotherapy by the light of Kabbalah and Chassidut — a depth process that engages heart, mind, body and soul together.
As always, the study weaves in exercises, contemplation (meditation), movement, breath, deep conversation, time in nature, and work in pairs and small groups — plus many surprises found in no other learning setting.
Each participant also undergoes a personal process with private guidance, meeting Rabbi Dror (men) or Rabbanit Michal (women). This is not an add-on — it is the goal: that every student lives the process themselves.
The course grants credit for about 50% of the first year of Yichuda College's counselor track — and here in India it is offered at a significantly reduced price compared with the same course in Israel.
You don't need to be a Map of the Soul graduate in advance — the course is open to all, and Map of the Soul can be completed before the advanced course or later on.

Ways of learning
Four paths woven together into one whole journey.
Theoretical study
The world of Kabbalah and the structure of personality — acquiring the language of the soul, ordering insights and emotions, and identifying the core of one's character.
Jewish meditation
Contemplation by the light of Kabbalah — from clear intellectual understanding, through relaxation, melody and breath, to a direct, deep experience of the idea.
Movement, breath & voice
Postures and movements by the light of the holy letters, infusing the body with awareness and sensitivity to the light — and the soul fills with renewed strength.
Sharing, writing & art
Liberating, healing expression — personal practice and group dynamics that turn painful secrets into challenges open to change.
Course structure — three weeks
Turning darkness into light
An introduction to the psychotherapy process in the way of the Baal Shem Tov, in nine steps, and pinpointing your personal goal in balancing the soul.
Diagnosing self-identity
Shedding deceptive masks, a precise diagnosis of personality, and connecting to the true self.
Healing and connecting to the soul
Understanding the whole of life's processes as a movement of healing, and opening the gates of the super-conscious.
A day in the course (Sun–Thu)

About the Yichuda method
Yichuda is the body of study and practice developed by Rabbi Dror Shaul through his work with thousands of students since 1998. It draws on Kabbalah and Chassidut — especially Chabad — and seeks to connect body and soul, matter and spirit, so that every detail of our lives is tied to its right spiritual intention. 'Yichuda' means connection, union and oneness.
